Delivery form

Neville Hydrocarbon Resins are normally available in flakes packed in PE bags of 25 kg net weight, for easy handling and storage. There are also possibilities to pack the resin flakes with softening points R&B over 100°C in 500 kg or 1,000 kg big bags. The liquid Neville Resins are available in drums, containers or tankcars. Resins can also be supplied in melted form or as resin solution in roadcontainers.

Following delivery forms are available:

• Solid resins as flakes measuring several millimetres in thickness packed in 25 kg bags (net) or in big 500 kg or 1,000 kg bags.

• Fluid resin in approx. 200 litre drums or 1,000 kg containers, or bulk in a (heated) tanker.

• Resin solutions, e.g. resin in ink oil.

• Molten resin in a heated tanker.

Storage and handling

Most hydrocarbon resins gradually oxidize, some more rapidly than others. It is therefore recommended to keep a tight stock control and to use as a fixed rule the principle ‘first in, first out’. Due to storage conditions, warehousing practices, and climate, some types of flaked hydrocarbon resins (with low softening points R&B) will remass (revert to a solid form). Because these variables cannot be controlled by Neville Chemical Europe, no guarantee, either implicit of explicit, is made by the manufacturer.
